- Blue Veils, Sabian Sands
A radiophonic work, inspired by Delia Derbyshire's Blue Veils, Golden Sands.
Main instruments are male voice, 20" Sabian Ride and much manipulation, mainly using analogue tape with vari-speed pitch-shift.
Blue Veils, Sabian Sands- Journey
Sound sources include Sabian 20" Ride cymbal, smallish jazz snare drum (Percussion Plus), stick (Vic Firth 7a), wire brush (Pearl), passing locomotive (BR Diesel-Electric class 37 on the West Coast mainline, for those who have to know!)
Sound manipulation using a combination of analogue tape and DAW.
Journey 1.8- Another Journey
Here's another version of Journey, also featuring some piano strings at the start and a horn effect using a clarinet mouthpiece near the end.

Made with "found" sounds made on location - "field recording" if you like...
... but not quite as much in a field as you might think!
